The Junction City / Geary County Crime Stoppers Organization was started back in April of 1989. It was a way that the local citizens along with the media could help law enforcement solve crimes that had occurred.

The local Crime Stoppers Organization is part of the 34 Crime Stoppers Organizations that make up the Kansas Crime Stoppers Association and is one of over 700 Crime Stoppers programs in the United States and Canada.
